VIDEO SOURCES USED FOR THIS PROJECT

  • original VHS video K7 tape "Viernes13 - último capítulo" (spanish, 1988) ... QUALITY 7/10
Only used for the Trish / Rob scene inside the tent. 
I kept the audio from the DVD.

  • DVD "Viernes13 - último capítulo" (spanish, 2005) ... QUALITY 9/10
Used as the basic structure / digital file where I've been adding all the other videos. The quality is not as good as the blu-ray because I had to combine it with lesser quality material. So I took the decision to use the dvd format just to avoid a bigger difference between the video sources. (Have a look at a few screen captures below.)

Used for several uncut kills, the alternate Jason's death and also as the main source for the final dream sequence. Details:

Used for all 8 deleted scenes only shown on a slightly edited TV version back in the day (with less gore and nudity.) Those sequences have now been available on youtube for a while; several have even been restored recently (around 2023 / 2024.) Details:

It took nearly 2 hours and a half to get it complete but here it is: my FRIDAY THE 13th - THE FINAL CHAPTER (40th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION) is finally ready and doing fine! The quality is pretty good although it varies with the inclusion of the deleted scenes. It's still wonderful to have it at last. (Still waiting for my Jason USB to store those 33 Gigabytes!) Welcome to FRIDAY THE 13th - The Final Chapter - 40th Anniversary Special Edition . This is clearly a labour of love as I've been dreaming for the ultimate FINAL CHAPTER long edit for years. Thanks to new powerful tools (Adobe Premiere Pro) and Youtube (those extra clips had be found somewhere), I have finally work out a 101 minutes edit of my favorite slasher movie.  And to achieve an "ultimate vibe", I also add some bonus features, like Lobby Cards, rare interviews, personal drawing / designs, etc. Wanna know more about it?
